23rd Annual Anne Arundel County Invitational Swimming Championships. The purpose of the annual Anne Arundel County Invitational Swimming Championships is to provide an opportunity for swimming competition among the county’s summer swim teams.

Announcing the Fourth Annual Bay Ridge Relay CANival to benefit Food Link, Anne Arundel County’s largest Food Bank

TUESDAY, JUNE 28, 2011 5:30pm

Always fun, always chaotic, the Bay Ridge Relay CANival is an event that brings together the teams of the GASL in an event that features relays, only relays!

If you have attended in the past, you know you can’t miss it. If you have never attended, you don’t know what your missing. C’mon.

ENTRY FEE: CANS OF FOOD!

With school not in session, many children have lost the safety net of meals provided by the school system, as well as the backpack program, where food is sent home with children to cover the weekend. We, as privileged residents of Anne Arundel County, need to fill Food Link with cans.

An event file will be sent out soon, as well as list of needed foods.

After two years, we finally get to swim against our rivals … Bay Hills … Let’s Go Mighty Ducks!

• Ulmstead vs Bay Hills Meet Program

The Pep Rally is tomorrow, Thursday (6/16) from 4:00 – 5:30 pm.

T-shirts will be available at the Pep Rally to tie-bleach for only $12 on a first-come, first-served basis. If you pre-ordered, yours will be set aside! Please wear something you don’t mind getting bleach on if you are going to participate in the tie-bleaching.

Jerilyn will also have the other team merchandise available for sale, so bring your check books and support your team!

Duck tattoos will also be available for only 25¢ – so bring your quarters and $1 bills and find me at Bay Hills on Saturday!

If you can please bring a snack (fruit, chips, cookies, etc.) to share; we will provide drinks.
